CCC's Woman's Only Group Road Ride - Every last Sunday of the month

The clubs Woman's Only Group Road Rides meet every last Sunday of the month at The Sportsman, Chatteris (PE16 6ST) for 9.30am. The club is seeing more and more ladies attending these rides and it would be great to attract more. The ladies group are a fantastic bunch and enjoy their rides out together. The fitness gains from road cycling can be very rewarding not to mention the social aspect of riding with like-minded people in a same sex environment. All of the ladies that have attended so far have commented on how enjoyable these rides are. This is something British Cycling are trying to promote and we are happy that we have a great bunch of ladies within CCC. Please spread the word and get more women involved. This invite goes out to everyone as everyone knows a lady who might want to get involved. These CCC club rides are open to all females within the cycling communities and are fee to attend however it is advised that road/hybrid bikes are the most suited bike to use whilst on the road. Free car parking is also available at the Sportsman. The Sportsman has a fully licenced bar and kitchen (for breakfast baps and beverages) and opens at 11am and is perfect to refuel yourself post ride. (All details can be found on the website and social media apps). EVERYONE THAT ATTENDS THESE RIDES ARE REMINDED THAT HE/SHE MUST WEAR A HELMET. THIS IS PURELY FOR YOUR OWN HEALTH AND SAFETY WHILST ON THE ROADS.
