CCC & Camsight

Chatteris Cycling Club are proud to be partners with Camsight to bring tandem cycling to visually impaired cyclists in Fenland. Based at the George Campbell Leisure Centre in March we have access to two tandems. The programme was launched on the 28th April 2018 with trained pilots from CCC, support from Fenland District Council, New Vision Fitness and Camsight.

Sam from Camsight: What a great morning. In spite of the rain and cold, Cam Sight were joined by 3 very enthusiastic VI (Visually Impaired) clients who teamed up with our wonderful pilots from Chatteris Cycling Club to officially launch our Tandem Cycling Project. And they were off... all returning with beaming smiles. Here’s to many more miles everyone. Thanks also to Fenland District Council/Active Fenland for such positive support.
